I liked the room (it was just like the advertised picture) and it's privacy. The staff were also great. I didn't look around outside of my room too much, but I didn't get the impression that there was any spare room for a pool, but I wonder if you've considered a spa/hot tub with a bit of a privacy screen in the courtyard? It's actually more difficult than I thought it would be to find a hotel with a hottub - maybe they are a pain? If one was added, I would DEFINITELY make plans to come back to Delray and be a return guest (I probably will anyway IF I'm in the area again).

There was a sense of homeliness and charm that is hard to find. There is great value in simplicity and humility. Everything was exactly as one would need without all the unnecessary thrills. It was a perfect place to be well located but still away from the noise. It felt like a family run business without losing its relevancy compared to large conglomerates.
